SHELTER-XP™ is a strong, lightweight, waterproof and breathable three layer fabric.
A waterproof breathable hydrophilic membrane, which lets body vapour pass through to the outside but is totally waterproof, is laminated between with a woven polyester outer face fabric treated with a
Teflon durable water repellant finish, and an inside
layer of tricot mesh for extra strength and comfort. |

A garment is only waterproof if it's seams are sealed with tape to stop entering through the seams and the hundreds of needle holes. All necessary seams are tape sealed on Huntech Shelter™ Rain Gear, during manufacture. The tape sealing is tested to a minimum of 2000 mm of hydrostatic head.
